The omha playdowns have started and the Listowel Cyclones are beginning their battle to bring home some hardware. Be sure to follow the schedule on the website and come out to support as many games as possible.
The Listowel Cyclones are bound to meet some tough teams in the OMHA playdowns so there is some great hockey coming our way. Help the kids take advantage of our home games in our arena by coming out, make some noise and let our kids know just how much Listowel supports them.
If you are interested in following them through the playdowns you can easily do that on the OMHA website. Go to
omha.net, highlight the “playdown tab” on the upper right side of their home screen by placing your cursor over it. A drop down menu will appear, select “playdowns”.
A new tab will show up with “Find Your Playdown”. Select the down arrow in the window beside ”Select a Playdown….” and choose the team you are looking for.
Listowel Minor Hockey is a B centre so if you are looking to follow any Rep team select the division B. For example the Atom rep team is Atom B. If you are looking for an AE team Listowel Minor Hockey is in the AE3 group. So to follow our Atom AE team select Atom AE3. A flow chart will show up that will list the teams in the round followed by a number. The number listed is the number of points that team currently has in the series. Each team will need at least 6 points in the series to advance to the next round. Game results can be viewed further down on the same page.
