A Challenge Well Met.
Coming into this game Mitchell had a 6 win, 0 loss record with a whopping 39 points for and 1 against.
Their bench was full, with 15 players to our 10, but that didn't stop us from scoring the first goal of the game at 6:32. #12 Isaac Benny scored that goal, assisted by #15 Isaac Gaul.
That, however, was the only goal we were to score. There were lots of opportunities to score on both sides, but the score remained unchanged through the 2nd period.
The intense play took its toll on our line, in the 3rd period, and Mitchell was able to score two goals at 9:05 and 5:30 to win the game.
Well done boys. It was a thrilling game to watch, and you certainly met the challenge.
