Our 2nd game of the year, and our 2nd against the Bulldogs, resulted in a win. In our first meeting we were fairly evenly matched but lost to the Bulldogs 1:2.
As in our first game, the first period was back and forth with a few scoring attempts. The Bulldogs opened up the scoring in the 2nd period, with a goal at 7:54. This was quickly answered by a goal by Nick Verbeek, #9, at 7:17. Liam Cassidy assisted him on the play, which had our many parents cheering.
At 4:38 in the 3rd we got our second goal when #14, Carter Servais, scored, with the assistance of #9, Nick Verbeek. That ended the scoring in the game, resulting in our 2:1 win.
