ATOM A/E S COMPLETE COMEBACK
The Listowel Cyclone atom a/e team played the last 4 games of the WOAA finals facing elimination, but came away with the title following a 5-1 Monday night.

Starting the series with back to back losses to the Saugeen Shores Storm, the Cyclones found themselves with there backs against the wall. They came out in game three with a little extra bounce in there step and worked there way into a 3-3 tie by coming from behind twice.  Overtime didn't change anything and the squad came away with there first point of the series.  Game 4 traveled back to Southampton.  Knowing a tie would mean elimination, the  Cyclones skated there way to a 1-0 win over the home team.
Game 5 was back in Listowel, and both teams were battling hard.  After 4 lead changes, regulation time ended with the score tied at 5 and for the second time in the series, sudden death overtime meant just that for the Cyclones.  Should Saugeen Shores win or even tie, the series would be over.  Less then a minute and a half into the extra frame, the cyclones scored the winner to force a game 6.
Back in Southampton, Cyclone fans filled the stands and the team responded by jumping out to a 1-0 lead in the first.  Early in the second the storm tied it at 1 but the Cyclones answered right back to make it 2-1 and it stayed that way until into the third.  Three unanswered tallies by Listowel made it 5-1 and completed a story book comeback for the Atom A/E cyclones.
In a series that thrilled fans, these guys never gave up and proved that good things happen if you work hard as a team.  This was truely a complete team effort. Coaching staff Randy Bauman, Bill Mcgrath and Marc Bowman would like to thank all the players for there hard work.  Team members were Austin Mcgrath, Ben Bowman, Brett Macleod, Derek Fischer, Matt Senek, Andrew Bauman, Sam Johnston, Reid Gooding, Cooper Miller, Lucas Jamieson, Michael Uptigrove, Will Calder, Nicholas O'grady, Reid Wareham.
