The cyclones started the tournament on Friday afternoon againist the Renfrew Timberwolves in what was one of the best played games for both teams in the tournament. Each team exchanged hardhits, and numerous scoring drives throughout most of the game. Listowel ended up coming out victorious with a 3-2 win.

The second game of the tournament was played on Saturday morning against the Hunstville (alabama) Chargers. Listowel dominated throughout most of the game on route to a 6-0 win.

The third game of the tournament was played on Saturday night against the Wasaga Beach Stars. Listowel came out slow keeping the game close to end the second period. However, Listowel broke the game open in the third scoring numerous goals on road to a 5-1 win.

With Listowel's record of 3-0, they ended up matching up against their previous OMHA finals competition in the Alymer Flames. Alymer started the scoring on the opening drive with a unlucky bounce infront of Listowel's Ian Robinson. The game ended up being another battle for the ages as each team seemed to gain momentum at different moments during the game. Listowel would tie the game up later in the second period ending the second in a 1-1 score. Listowel took the early lead in the third period, holding Alymer off until just under 6 minutes left when Alymer would tie the game and send it to overtime. Listowel would end up getting the wrong luck in the opening minutes of the 3 on 3 overtime as Alymer would score their redemption on their rivals from a year prior, winning the International Silverstick.

Nothing but positive can be taken from the tournament over the weekend as each player earned valuable experience to help on their road to OMHA champs.
