Jr. B intermission game
We've been asked, and have accepted, to play a short game during the 1st intermission of the Jr. B game on Friday, Dec 3 and Friday, Dec 10....
We will play this as an additional, very short, game for the 3 on 3 schedule.
Friday, Dec 3 will be the Leafs vs Penguins
Friday, Dec 10 will be the Blackhawks vs Capitals
We have 6 minutes to play our game—format:
Completely dressed 10 minutes before end of period.
1 minute to get on bench and on the ice for faceoff.
2 min shift
2 min shift
1 minute to get off the ice.
Would request a good attendance and commitment from the parents to give the kids the opportunity to do this. It will be a very big deal to them as the crowd will be large and cheering--as a little player on the big ice, this will be like playing in the NHL to alot of them!
