Reps Split Games
The Midget Reps got involved in a shoot out with Mount Forest on Jan 4th, in which they were unable to reload in time to even things before the final buzzer, thus suffering a 7-6 loss.

The Cyclones opened the scoring and led through most of the first two periods, until Mount Forest score a couple goals late in the second, to take a 4-3 lead into the third period. The Reps then came out flat, giving up two goals before the third period was three minutes old, making it a 6-3 lead for Mount Forest.
However, the Cyclones should good grit and started to battle back, making it a 6-5 game with a couple minutes to play. Mount Forest added an empty net goal with 47 seconds remaining. Yet the Cyclone team did not give up, scoring to make it 7-6 with 24 seconds to go, and then almost scored with a goal mouth scramble at the 8 second mark.
In the scoring summary, Luke Binning led the way with 2 goals and 2 assists, Cory Wilson chipped in with a goal and 2 assists, along with Kyle Sippel & Broedy Kaersle getting a goal and an assist. Conner Johnston scored the Cyclones sixth goal. Rounding out the assists were: Jacob Askins, Drew McKee, Matt McCracken & Zack MacPhee.
Jesse Nethercott suffered the loss between the pipes, making numerous saves on top of the six goals allowed, to keep his team in the game.
This was a very entertaining hockey game, and the coaching staff was very please with the comeback effort by the team.

On Jan 7th the Milverton Drives were in town for an exhibition game. The Cyclones were able to get the jump on the Drives, holding a 5-0 lead after two periods, and continued to shutdown the visiting squad in the third, for a 6-1 win.
Andrew Gooding had a great night, posting 2 goals & 2 assists, narrowly missing the hat trick late in the third.
