Regular Season Started
The Atom Rep Team has there first three games under their belt in the regular season and all three were victories.
The team opened the regular season vs the Elma-Logan WildCats and came out with a hard earned 10-1 victory. The team fired many shots at the Elma Logan net and many strong saves by the WildCat goalie kept the score lower than it could have been.
Next up was a trip to Clinton to face the BCH Ice Dogs. The team seemed a bit flat from the get go but managed to pull off a 3-1 victory.
Game #3 against the Blyth/Brussels team was a lot better to watch with the kids playing hard and getting after the puck. They took the early lead but the opposition managed to tie the score at 2 after two periods of play. The boys dug deep in the third and scored to take the 3-2 victory.
All the boys have played well to start the season and will keep improving on their overall team game as the season moves forward.
