AE's complete the comeback against the sailors
The Cyclones found themselves in a deep hole against the sailors due to some stellar netminding by the goderich tender and were down 2 games to 0 after 2 1 goal losses.
The boys would fight back and take games 3 and 4 with a great team effort setting up a game 5 back in Goderich.
Game 5 would see the cyc's come out flying and build a 2-0 lead after 1. With some key stops early in the second by O'Grady to keep the lead at 2 the cyc's would add 2 more before the end of the 2nd and take a 4-0 lead to the dressing after 2 periods. The cyc's didn't quit and added 2 more in the 3rd to complete the comeback with a 6-0 victory.
The coaches want to congratulate the boys on a great comeback in winning the WOAA title. It is now onto face Collingwood in the quarter finals of the OMHA playdowns and the series has been set.
