PeeWee Reps SWEEP Kincardine Kinucks to Win the WOAA B Championship
Well it took exactly 1 week and only 3 games for the Listowel PeeWee Reps to sweep Kincardine

Last Thursday(Jan 30) under heavy snow Kincardine travelled down 86 for an 8pm match-up.  The Kinucks scored half way through the 1st and then less than a minute later Isaiah pushed the puck behind the Kincardine net where Blair shot it back out front for Riley to shoot it straight in.
Second period action had the defense working hard in front of Travis. Cullen passed a nice shot off to Jake who scored. Then with under 3 minutes left in the second, the boys worked hard for 2 more goals, Riley taking a shot and Jake was able to place the rebound off the Kincardine goalie in the back of the net and then Jordy fed a long one to Riley who scored on a breakaway. The 3rd period brought some penalties to each team but again within 3 minutes the boys scored. Jake fed another one to Riley from behind the net and then Jordan laid another nice pass to Keegan who slammed one past the Kinucks goalie. A well played 6-1 game, with a lot of team work and passing.

Super Bowl Sunday/Ground Hog Day sent the boys to Ripley. The first period kept both sets of fans on the edge of their seats with a lot of back and forth action. Second period started with Listowel being down a man in the box and Kincardine was able to get one past Travis just as the penalty ended. For the next 6 mins both teams endured their time in the box and held each other from scoring. 3 mins left Nich passed a beauty to Jake  to tie the game and then with 15.9 seconds left and Listowel shorthanded Riley was able to blast one into the back of the net. The 3rd started off slowly, but Blair took a shot, the puck came back off the goalies pads and Sam was able to bounce it in for the game to end 3-2.

Thursday Feb 6th, had Kincardine travel in much better weather, for another 8pm game.  During the first 4 minutes we struggled to get the puck out of our end and then Riley was successful in scoring Listowels first marker. With 3 mins left Cullen fed Jake a nice pass for another goal. The second period was packed with a lot of action, goals and penalties....right away Blair got in and went down, faked a pass and scored. Cullen took a shot a couple minutes later and Conner was able to deflect the rebound in. Shortly after, Riley then fed Blair for his second. With under 2 mins left Blair nabbed his third and 30 seconds later Riley fed Jake for his 2nd. Going into the third, up 7-0, the fans weren't sure what would take place. with 7 seconds left on a penalty the Kinucks edged one in. Jake passed for Riley to score his second  but more penalties for both teams continued with Kincardine scoring 2 more powerplay goals.  Congratulations on the final 8-3 win, to all the boys for their hard-work in all three games and clinching the WOAA B championship trophy for the PeeWee Reps.
