First game of our regular season
What a first game of the season. All 11 skaters and our Goalie played
hard from start to finish. I am so proud of our boys for maintaining
the "play as a team system" we are teaching and promoting this season.
The game wasn't even 30 seconds old and we were already on the board. Our boys pressed from beginning to end, displaying some offensive skill and power.
Scoring Summary:
4 Goals a piece from Matthew and Sheldon along with 1 goal from Parker. These goals would not have been possible without some great passing and a few notable assists from Eric, Colin, Bryan, Tyson and Jake. Along with some very strong defensive play from Jon, Devin and Jake.
Notes:
Special thanks to Sebastien and Tyson for stepping up to play D today. We hope to secure a few more regulars in the D position as the season goes on.
Can't forget a solid goal-tending performance by Sam.
