Peewee REPs Win Regional Silver Stick!
Congratulations to the players and coaching staff of the Peewee REP Cyclones on taking the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick title on December 30th. All the boys worked extremely hard and showed a lot of heart. They won 3 and tied 1 (against the Kincardine Kinucks, whom they would go on to play in the final) during round robin.
Special recognition was given to Josh Jacklin and Chet Hudson. Josh recieved 3 Silver Stick Top Performance Pins for recording 3 shut-outs during round robin play, and Chet was named Player of the Game in the Final against Kincardine.
Many thanks to the parents for ensuring the players arrived in Tiverton/Kincardine in good time, and also to the Fishers for providing players and their families with a much needed rest in between games.
The Peewee REP team will compete in the International Silver Stick tournament next weekend in Forest, ON. Best of luck boys...Play Like Champions!
