Black Edged In Overtime
Listowel Novice LL Black took a 3-2 overtime loss to the BCH Ice Dogs on Sunday.
BCH got on the board first before Rory Magee knotted the contest later in the period.
The Ice Dogs then took a 2-1 lead into the third and hung on for most of the frame as Listowel continued to press for the equalizer.
The tying tally came off the stick of Noah Hiemstra with 8.2 seconds left, forcing some free hockey.
However, a few minutes into overtime, it was BCH who sneaked in a goal to even the weekend's home-and-home contests at a game apiece.
Listowel Black will continue their fury of postseason fun, diving right back into action against Kincardine on Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm in Wallace.
