Before the frame was out, Hillier's second score of the contest made it a 4-0 game.

Red's scoring was capped in the third as Noah Hiemstra dented the twine two minutes in, one of his many chances on the night which were aided by winger Linc Lannin.

Goaltender Ryan Reath wasn't pressed often but did what was needed to earn his third shutout of the campaign.

He stayed clean for most of the game as the puck was kept in at the far end all night by Blake McTavish, Lucas McLoed, Oliver Hershey and Brynlee Binning, who delivered the biggest blow of the night with an open-ice collision on a Minto forward.

Red's busy week will continue with a Thursday practice ahead of a game on Friday at the Central Perth Predators, and then a home date with the Howick Hornets on Saturday at 4:15 pm.
