U9 Reps play well but fall short in Ayr Silver Stick
The Listowel Cyclone U9 Reps had a good showing at the 2022 Ayr U9 Silver Stick tournament over the weekend finishing with a 2-1 record.

The U9 Reps started the tournament on the right foot on Friday afternoon with a convincing 6-0 win over Twin Centres Stars.  Game two was an early one on Saturday morning with the boys playing the Ingersoll Express at 8AM and picking up another win by an 8-3 margin.  This set up the 3rd game of the tournament against a strong Mt Brydges team to see who would get to play in the semi finals on Sunday morning.  The Cyclones would come up short in this one falling 3-2 to the Cougars and exiting the tournament much earlier than they had expected.  The boys played well just didn't get the bounces in this one.

The team had a blast all weekend with most of the boys playing in their first real hockey tournament.  After game three it was back to the hotel for some team bonding.

The team will now shift it's focus to the WOAA semi finals and its series with Seaforth which starts on Tuesday night in Listowel at 730.

Congrats to our division rival Kincardine Kinucks who took home the title in Ayr!!
