Cyclones Kept Off The Board By Kincardine
The Listowel U13-AE Cyclones lost by a 3-0 final score to the Kincardine Kinucks on Wednesday.

Listowel hung tough with the visiting squad the whole way thanks to some tight defensive and very timely goaltending. Kincardine managed to sneak in a wraparound in the first period and banged in a couple rebounds in the middle frame for their trio of markers.

Aiden Metzger played his first full contest and came up equal to the task of many high-leverage scoring chances by the Kinucks.

Aiding Aiden was his defensive front of Malcolm Long, Spencer Henhoeffer, Jacob Hodder and Finn Molenhuis, all who did well to collapse low and clear pucks from in front in order to limit Kincardine's chances as best they could.

Listowel's forward lines of Avery Spencer/Noah Hiemstra/Nehemiah Dyck and Ryan Jurgens/Hudson Ireland/Liam Ough showed a few flashes of offensive spark but were limited in chances as they were forced to play the majority of the night in their own end.

Owen Alexander was away (pre-US Thanksgiving food prep) and the club hopes he can return for their next match, a noon puck drop on Saturday in Tara.
