Chapter 1 At Drayton
The U8 T1 Cyclones travelled to Drayton this past Saturday for a back and forth battle against a very talented Drayton Defenders team. The game began with both teams locked in a stalemate for the first few shifts, shots being fired from every angle. Eric Nauta was tending the Cyclones goal and played incredible. Eric had great defensive help from Carter Ropp, Aria Beirnes and Alexander Brydges-Crete. About half way through the game, the excellent forechecking by Cali Holm-Andersen and Barrett Berfelz allowed Caleb Newman, Mackinnon Coghlin, and Dominic Kieswetter to find ways to beat a very tough Drayton Goalie. The coaching staff were incredibly proud of the effort the team put in. U8 T1 will return for a home bout against the Mitchell Meteors Saturday November 12th.
