General Information, Gord Hymers U11 Tournament, 2022-2023 (Listowel Minor Hockey Association)

This Tournament is part of the 2022-2023 season, which is not set as the current season.
PrintGeneral Information

The Gord Hymers Tournament originated in Listowel, Ontario in 1967.

It started as a Novice Tournament that first got up and running by Gord Hymers and Ted Smith. Hymers and Smith wanted to run an annual tournament for Novice teams in Listowel where kids could have fun, play hard, and hopes to take home the Trophy at the end of it.

Marking the 50th Anniversary of the tournament, Gord decided it was time to pass the reins on over to Listowel Minor Hockey Association.
Since 2017 it has become an annual tournament for kids either Novice or Atom (U9/U11 now). Without the support from our local businesses, families, and friends this tournament would not be able to run as smoothly as it has done so since 1967!

Thank you Gord and Ted for taking such a huge initiative and starting a great tournament for these young hockey enthusiasts!
