Bantam Reps win WOAA Title

The Bantam Reps defeated Kincardine 5-3 on Saturday evening to sweep the WOAA Final series in 3 straight games.
    

Listowel scored twice in the first period on goals by Darren Kerr (from Travis Bender) and Ben Verkley (from Thad Lucas).  The lead held up until midway through the second when Kincardine scored 3 times in two and a half minutes to take the lead.  Twelve seconds after Kincardine took the lead, Verkley (from Justin Bauman) scored the equalizer.  The teams headed to the third period tied at 3.  Just over 3 minutes in to the third, John McKeown (from Kerr) scored what proved to be the series winner.  Bender (from McKeown) would add an insurance marker with 3 minutes left to ensure the victory for the Cyclones.  The Bantams now move on to face Strathroy in OMHA Semi-Final action.
