Peewee AEs up 2 game to 1 in OMHA playdowns
The Listowel Peewee AE Cyclones are leading the best of five OMHA quarterfinals 2 games to 1 after an exciting weekend of hockey.
On Saturday the Cyclones defeated Midland 5 to 3 in the first game of the series at the Listowel Memorial Arena and after a long drive to Midland on Sunday to face the Midland team on their own ice the Cyclones lost by a score of 5-1. Mondays game saw both teams playing fantastic hockey. The game went back and forth the Cyclones tied it up in the third to send the game to overtime. With 30 seconds left in the overtime period the Cyclones tallied the winner to take the game 5-4.
The next game for the Peewee AEs is on Saturday February 20th at 11:20am.
