Peewee Reps Take 1-0 Lead In OMHA Final Series
The Listowel Peewee Reps travelled to Oro on Sunday and came out on top 7-3 in game one in their best of five OHHA final series.

The Cyclones looked sluggish after an eight day lay off, and found themselves down two goals early in the second period.  Ted Nichol broke the goose egg in the middle frame on a set up from brother Blake and Keaton Willis.    Listowel tied the game two minutes later on a goal by Blake Nichol, assisted by T. Nichol and Michael McMurren.  The game remained tied until the ten minute mark in the third when Oro pulled ahead by one.  Listowel then exploded for five goals, the first scored by T. Nichol with assists going to Willis and B. Nichol.  T. Nichol then completed his hat trick when he converted passes from Willis and Blake Buchanan.  The remaining three goals were scored by McMurren, B. Nichol and Tyler Hak.  Helpers went to T. Nichol, B. Nichol, Cole Fletcher, Willis, and Andrew Gooding.

Listowel was assessed seven penalties in the contest, with the home town Thunder sent to the box eight times.

Daniel Dekoning earned the victory in the Listowel net making many key saves throughout the contest.

Game two in this series will be played Sunday March 22 @ 3:00 p.m. in Listowel.
