Listowel Peewees Up 2-0 In Final Series with Oro
The Peewee Cyclones played game two of their best of five final series In Listowel on Sunday, and came out on top by a score of 4-1. Oro got on the board early in the first period and the Cyclones tied it up two minutes later on a goal from Caleb Warren. Warren picked up a pass from Andrew Gooding in the neutral zone and continued into the Oro zone beating the goaltender with a low hard shot.
The remainder of the Cyclones goals came in a two minute span in the second period, the last two scored while being short handed. Goals were scored by Ted Nichol, Tyler Hak and Andrew Gooding. Assists went to Blake Nichol, Warren, Blake Buchanan and Cole Fletcher.
Game three in this series is Wednesday in Oro. Game four if necessary is Saturday March 28 @ 5:00 p.m. in Listowel.
