Novice Reps Sweep Away Walkerton !!
Listowel closed out their opening series against Walkerton with a decisive 7-1 victory last Friday night for a 3-0 sweep.
The boys scored early and often as the game was never in doubt. Walkerton tried to rough up the local boys but that only led to their undoing as Listowel went 3 for 7 on the power play. The scoring was spread out amongst the whole team as each skater managed to get on the scoreboard at least once.
Goal scorers were as follows: Blair Johnson (1), Brandon Wall (1), Riley Kuepfer (2), Eric Vander Eyk (2) and Keaton Yungblut (1).

Travis Bannerman faced only a few shots and gave up a last minute goal to ruin his shutout bid.
