Atom Rep's begin the season 2-0 record after the weekend.
Submitted By Trevor Reading on Tuesday, October 20, 2009
The Atom rep team played a home and home this past weekend with Saugeen Shores.

On Saturday the Atom Rep team took to the ice to begin the WOAA season. Saugeen took the early lead 4:00 into the game but Listowel rallied for three tallies to close out the first period.

In the second, Listowel added to the lead with one more. In the third the Listowel squad slowed up and let the Saugeen team back into the game with three quick tallies, but after regrouping the boys came away with a 7-4 victory.

On Sunday afternoon the boys were home for their home opener to finish off the home and home weekend. Once again the Saugeen team took the early lead and carried a 1-0 lead into the second. Our Listowel squad then came to life and scored five unanswered goals over the next two periods to come away with a 5-1 home victory.

The coaching staff were pleased with the teams efforts and seen some very good improvement over the past two weeks of practices.

Keep up the good work guys!
