Interested in volunteering and giving back to your community and Minor Hockey?
Listowel Minor Hockey Association is looking for a volunteer to be “Assistant Town Contact“ for our organization. The town contact is a liaison between WOAA/OMHA and the LMHA. Responsibilities will be shared with and supported by existing town contact. The successful candidate will be expected to share attendance of the WOAA meetings (woaa AGM in September, league meeting in September, playoff meeting in January,) The job would consist of assisting with registration, using the Hockey Canada Registry website to preregister players during the summer/fall in the system, building rosters, checking coach’s qualifications, assisting in player transfers, assisting in the set up of OMHA playdown contracts and acting as a resource for executive, coaches, players and parents regarding OMHA/WOAA rules and requirements.
