Midget AE’s Enter OMHA Semi-Final’s
The Listowel midget AE team has moved on to play in
the OMHA semi-finals vs the Hunstville Otters.
After a first round 3-1 series win over the BCH Ice Dogs, the AE’s played their Hwy #23 nemeses the Mitchel Meteors. After already meeting 5 times during the
season, Mitchell having the regular season edge 3-1 but Listowel having won in semi-finals at Silver Stick to say the series was going to be a heated and a hard hitting
affair was an understatement. The series lived up to its potential with lots of hitting and close games but the Listowel team persevered with a 3-1 series win and proved
that regular season means nothing and they can win when the stakes are on the line !
The AE’s now play the Huntsville Otters in the OMHA semi’s, a team they have never played this season but should match up well against.
