LMH Return to Play Plan
We have been working very hard to find a safe solution that will allow our organization to operate in these unprecedented times.  With the combined effort of the Executive and some hockey minded people we believe we have arrived at a plan that will provide players with hockey that is both safe and geared to all levels of play.

LMHA has been asked to join with Mitchell, BCH and Seaforth in a "Cohort Bubble".  The structure of hockey within this bubble appears to be the best compromise to give our players the closest to a "normal" hockey experience as we can expect during these strange times.
The structure we are discussing now is different than we originally outlined in August.  In this plan, players will be placed on a team based on prior levels of play.  Because there will be no tryouts, the assignment of teams will be done using the input of our current and former bench staff as well as LMH Executive members.  Following team assignment the Listowel teams would then be placed in a "bubble" with Mitchell, Seaforth and BCH who are also using the same plan for team assignment.

This is not league play, but rather identified as "Cohort Bubbles" meaning the teams with similar skill sets will play each other regularly, keeping the Cohort Bubbles to a maximum of 50 players.  Each team will consist of 9 skaters and 1 goalie and 2 bench staff.  The games will be structured as defined by the OHF/OMHA Return to Hockey Framework (see schedule F on page 31 of below link)

As a result of these changes to our original proposal LMH has decided to open our registration up again until 10pm on Thursday Oct. 1st.  If you have already registered you do NOT need to register again.  Because of the restrictions on the number of players per team, registration will be on a first come first serve basis for all additional registrants.  Once registration is closed, we will not be accepting any additional players.

Based on these changes, if you have already registered and wish to withdraw please send a message to [email protected] and we will "unregister" you without penalty.

Yours in Hockey
