Good evening LMHA families. We wanted to provide a couple of updates regarding the remainder of the season, health protocols and a reminder of the public financial update tomorrow night.
First I would like to welcome everyone back and thank you all for support LMHA this season. We have met as an executive recently to discuss how to complete the season and when it will come to an end officially. The good news is we still have a few weeks left. The season will officially wrap up April 18th and we expect to continue with the current age group bubbles until the end.
Cash Calendars
We have finally secured our lottery license and intend to distribute all expected calendars to families. What we are suggesting is to begin immediately virtually selling your calendars in preparation for distribution. We will be hopefully distributing them by the end of this week to coaches. Distribution will be handled in a very sanitary manner to coaches then to players. From there we are asking to have all calendars returned to coaches by March 25th. Feel free to put them in a zip lock baggie or shopping bag. Coaches can then put them in a drop box located in the coaches room at SKMC. We will be drawing all calendars which is over 100 draws by April 1st. Once all draws are completed we will notify and publish winners then prepare checks. I want to thank everyone for their patience as this has been a long drawn out process, but won't be like this in subsequent seasons as we have ironed out the new electronic lottery license process.
Public Financial Presentation Reminder
Just a reminder that we will be holding a virtual public financial presentation to families who are interested tomorrow March 3rd at 8pm. If you are interested in joining please follow instructions to join our webinar link. Also all questions in the chat during the meeting are anonymous. Yellow (Protect) Guidelines for Hockey
- Masks MUST be worn at all times inside our arena and any arena (Players do not wear masks on the ice)
- No Food or Drinks can be brought into any arena.
- One Parent/Guardian can accompany their player for supervision.
- Maintain social distancing measures
- Health Checks via sportsheadz application is mandatory. (You may also be asked to sign a log book at other arenas for contact tracing.
- shouting by both instructors and members of the public must be prevented.
- Maximum of 50 people per facility.
