Based on having to adhere to the local facility guidelines and OMHA guidelines regarding vaccination here is a simplified guide.Starting Wednesday, September 22, 2021
, all patrons (this includes; players, coaches, trainers,
volunteers and spectators) 12 years of age or older wishing to access any of the municipally
operated recreation facilities and/or their meeting spaces in North Perth will need to show
proof of being fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) along with proof of ID (Health Card,
Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Citizenship Card, Permanent Resident Card, Passport,
Indian Status Card/Indigenous Membership Card) upon entry.
Individuals who are between 12-18 years of age, and who are entering the recreation facility
used for sports and recreational fitness activities solely for the purpose of actively
participating in an organized sport, in accordance with guidance published by the
Ministry of Health on its website for the purposes of this provision.
Starting October 31st based on OMHA policy the above Exception will be void.
What does this mean in the most basic form
This means everyone entering the arena must be fully vaccinated and show proof at the door of the facility every time going forward starting Wednesday Sept 22nd. Facility security staff will be checking credentials before entry. Those who are not fully vaccinated between the age of 12-18 can still enter and participate in their team events, but must leave the facility immediately following that sanctioned event until October 31st at which time they will not be permitted to take part in any LMH events until they are compliant.
Please direct any and all questions to myself or any LMH director for clarification.
