The Executive wishes to thank the U9 management team for their commitment to minor hockey and their understanding as we work together to improve communications in the future
Last fall the U9 LL Red team conducted a raffle, in good faith with the intention of using the proceeds to offset the cost of an away tournament.
When this was brought to the attention of the LMHA Executive; we requested the raffle be halted immediately pursuant to LMH Rules of Operation section 10.1. Following discussions with the team, and review of the activities that had already occurred, it was decided by the Executive the draw; which had already taken place be carried out and the winners announce.
It has been decided the U9 management team acted in good faith, followed the recommendations of the Executive and conveyed their concerns to the executive appropriately. The team has decided all proceeds from the raffle will be donated to North Perth Sports for Kids,

Moving forward there will be a review of section 10.1 in the Rules of Operation, and this section will be discussed with all coaching staff at the pre-season meeting. The Rules of Operation will be made available on our website following the AGM in June.
