To all of our LMHA families
Welcome back to another exciting season of hockey. Thank you for all those players who attended our pre-skates and those on-ice volunteers who helped make those skates so successful. As we turn our attention to tryouts and “making” teams, we would like to remind everyone that this can be a stressful and anxiety provoking time for some. Emotions tend to run high.
Those coaches you see are volunteers. Those evaluators you see are volunteers. The board members you see are also volunteers. All of them, have a common interest in making Listowel Minor Hockey a safe and enjoyable experience for all. We encourage parents to read the article posted by OMHA. https://www.omha.net/news_article/show/1238991Also, please keep in mind the 24 hour rule when dealing with conflict. And finally, all of our volunteers that make LMHA run are exactly that, volunteers. The majority are parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and neighbours to players in the organization and enjoy coming to the arena to see those players play as well, please be respectful of their time.
