Listowel Peewee Reps Win WOAA
The Peewee Reps defeated Kincardine on Wednesday night by a score of 4 - 1 to win the best of five series 3 games to 1.
Both teams played a nervous 1st period. Listowel got on the board first, scoring the only goal in the second frame when Tyler Hak drove home a shot unassisted. The Cylcones went up 2-0 during the first shift in the third when Ted Nichol completed a pass from Keaton Willis. Kincardine closed the gap to one on a goal by Payton Dunlop. The insurance marker came with 5:25 left in the period when Blake Nichol scored on a long shot assisted by Michael McMurren. B. Nichol closed out the scoring with an empty netter assisted by McMurren.The Cylclones now play Strathroy in the OMHA Semi-Finals. Game times will be posted when available.
