The Listowel Peewee Reps defeated Mitchell in three straight games to win their best of five series.
In game three on Sunday Feb. 1st in Listowel, the Cyclones finished off the series with a 6-2 victory. Game two played Saturday Jan. 31st in Listowel was won by a score of 7-1 while game one played Tuesday Jan. 27th in Mitchell had Listowel on top 5-0.
On Sunday in Listowel Tyler Hak and Keaton Willis each had a pair of goals with single markers going to Ted Nichol and Blake Nichol. T. Nichol had two assists, while Andrew Gooding, Nathan Dietz, Cole Fletcher, Willis, Michael McMurren and Caleb Warren had one each. Daniel Dekoning looked sharp in net for the win.
On Saturday, both Warren and Drew McKee had three point games with two goals and one assist each. Willis, Fletcher and Owen Bender rounded out the scoring. Also adding assists were T. Nichol with two, and B. Nichol, Gooding, Fletcher, McMurren, Bender and Dietz with one each. Dekoning and Steven Gottfried shared the goaltending duties.
Listowel now advances to the WOAA finals to meet the winner of the other semi-final series between Goderich and Kincardine.
