Pee Wee AE's Continue to Roll
The Pee Wee AE Cyclones continue to roll and in doing so are proving to the rest of the league that they are not to be taken lightly.  With a pair of home victories over Mitchell and a sneaky win in Kincardine, the team now boasts a very respectable 12 and 5 record.

On Wed. Dec. 11th, the Cycs hosted the Meteors from Mitchell.  This one started slowly with neither team able to generate any first period offence.  The Cyclones would wake up in the second scoring three straight goals.  Mitchell would respond with one.  However, the Cycs dominance would continue in the third.  Final score Listowel 5.  Mitchell 2.  Goal scorers for Listowel were Tyler Russell (2), Graeden Geiger, Austin Service and Owen Bender.  Drew McKee, Riley Conners, Tyler Bannerman, Riley Thompson and Matthew Daviau would pick up the assists.

Tues. Dec. 16th. saw the Cyclones travel to Kincardine for a much anticipated rematch with the Kinucks.  Like Listowel, Kincardine has also been playing some fine hockey.  This one would prove to be a nail bitter with Listowel clinging on for a 5-4 victory.  Drew McKee and Riley Thompson were the offensive stars with McKee potting a natural hat trick and Thompson adding a goal and an assist.  Owen Bender rounded out the Cyclone scoring.  Bender's goal with less than 3 minutes remaining would prove to be the winner.

On Wed. Dec. 17th the Meteors from Mitchell would  return to Listowel.  Again, the Cyclones would start slowly.  Late in the first Graeden Geiger would get things going when he converted a pass from Cole Fletcher and Blake Laidlaw.  From there the flood gates opened and Listowel would cruise to an easy 7 -0 victory.  Austin Service had a big night with two goals and a helper.  As did Riley Conners with one goal and three assists.  Other Cyclone marksmen were Tyler Bannerman, Cole Fletcher and Tyler Russell.  Drew McKee and Owen Bender each contributed with a pair of assists.  Matthew Daviau, Eric Sousa, Fletcher and Bannerman had one apiece.  Cyclone goaltender Steven Gottfried earned his first shut out of the season.  Gottfried's fine play has resulted in a sparkling 2.67 GAA.  The Pee Wee AE's travel to Goderich on Dec. 20th for league play and then prepare for tournaments in Zurich and Tiverton.  Go Cycs Go !!!!!
