Peewee LL wins 2 - lossess 2, during Nov 16th - Nov 24th busy schedule.
The Cyclones have a busy schedule. Nov 16th starting off, they hosted the quick Wingham team. The Cyclones got on the scoreboard late and worked hard backchecking, but it wasn't enough to win the quick play. Cyclones lost 8-7. Matheson stood strong in net.
Nov. 17th the Cyclones welcomed the Elma Logan team. Hungry for a win the Cyclones got on the scoreboard first. They cranked up their speed and team playing and scored three quick goals in the second period. One more goal in the third to finalize a 5-2 win!! Great goaltending from Robinson. Great job team!!
Nov. 22nd the Cyclones travelled to Seaforth, ready to play a challenging game. Seaforth came on strong and scored two goals in the first. The Cyclones hardwork couldn't tie things up in the second but they added a lonely goal in the third by some quick passing from Couto to Bannerman to Poirier who notched the only goal. Cyclones loss 3-1. Matheson hung in between the pipes.
Nov. 24th the Cyclones were back on the road playing against the Blyth Bulldogs. Some early physical play from the Bulldogs did not interfere in the Cyclones great passing and team playing. The Cyclones determination paid off with two unassisted goals from Sousa and Matheson to tie the game 2-2 at the end of the second. The physical play continued and pumped up the Cyclones to score two more goals in the third by Matheson and Dannemann to win the game 4-3! What a great game played by all! Robinson stood strong in net!
