Listowel Bantam LL are the WOAA CHAMPIONS.  The Cyclone Bantam LL team defeated Hanover Falcons in a best of three series.

Saturday, March 12 saw the Listowel Cyclone Bantam LL defeat Mount Forest Rams 6-2 on their home ice.  Coming into this game, Mount Forest had only lost to Listowel in their series (another 6-2 win for Listowel) while Listowel had dropped one game at Seaforth at a heart breaking game.  Listowel lost to Seaforth with ten seconds left in sudden death overtime. The Bantam LL team will go on to play Hanover in the best of two out of three games for the Maroon Flight championship.  First game will take place in Listowel on Monday, March 21 at 7:30pm.  Medallions for this round will be presented ...

Listowel Bantam LL team went undefeated in the Arthur Tournament this past weekend to win the 'A' championship.  The Cyclones stormed through the competiton coming out favourably against New Hamburg 5-1, Woolwich 3-2 and, in the finals, Elora 5-1.  Congratulations team!!!

Our next competitive challenge comes this weekend at the Stayner Bantam tournament.  Starting on Saturday morning at 10am, we take on the Collingwood Blackhawks.  Following a team lunch at Boston Pizza, we meet the Bradford Bulldogs at 6pm.  Sunday morning at 9am, the Woolwich Wildcats are the final team in our round robin of play.  Championship games are determined by the points system.
