I would like to thank all the players and parents for the commitment and effort put forth this year. Last weekends Minto tournament showed the dedication that everyone had during this season. We committed to everyone to develop our grass roots program to ensure that LMH has a successful future, and with the performance of our Tyke teams the program paid dividends. As everyone knows we spent a lot of time working on hockey fundamentals and skating skills, this is essential in the development young players. These skills were emphasized during the Minto Tournament, all the kids were engaged and continually showed their improvement during the games. The goalies all showed great focus between the pipes, a number of kids across all the lines proved that they could score; we also had everyone digging for the puck and clearing the zone just as practised. It was a well rounded performance and I know we are on the right track. With only a hand full of practices remaining I would encourage everyone to try and attend so we can close out the season on a high note.
