BioNumber 5, Owen Dunbar, is this week’s feature player. Owen goes to Wallace Public School and is in grade 6. Owen’s work ethic and bulldog-like tenacity when battling for the puck makes him a valuable asset as a forward. Owen started playing minor hockey in 2006, but joined Listowel Minor Hockey during the 2012-13 season. Owen’s favorite pump-up song is Shell Shocked by Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa and he likes to down chocolate milk before hitting the ice. Owen’s main focus this season is to become an all around better player. With determination like his, that should prove inevitable! When he’s not on the ice, Owen can be found hunting, four-wheeling, or snorkeling.
