Start the year and then build.
Hello all,
Well we are off to a challenging start this season, as most of you know we have had some tough games to start the year.
Last year the local league bantams had early success but then tailed off in the second half of the year.
My plan this year is to do the exact opposite...so far everything is going as planned. lol
We have been playing some pretty strong teams and our goals against is quite staggering, but when you look at the number of shots per game the save percentage is actually quite good. During our first game Tyson faced about 60 shots, game two the shot totals were 87 shots on goal plus 17 blocked shots and even more that just missed the net, game three total shots were also in that neighborhood.
Our offence has struggled a bit to get going (understatement). Still no goals in three games, but we will get there. The nice thing about this is we probably won't get overconfident.
The goal for our next game is to limit the opponents scoring to less than 5 goals.
