Exhibition Vs Blyth Brussels
In an electrifying display of skill and teamwork, the U11 Tier 2 Cyclones clinched their first exhibition game with an impressive 16-1 victory over the Blyth Brussels Crusaders. This remarkable win not only showcases the team’s talent but also sets a promising tone for the rest of the season.

From the opening puck drop, the team demonstrated an unstoppable offense. Players swiftly focused their efforts, creating scoring opportunities with precision passing and strategic plays. The scoreboard reflected their hard work, with numerous players (Oliver Gutknecht, Dominic Kieswetter, Caleb Newman, Holden Macewan) contributing multiple goals and assists throughout the game. Goals wouldn't have been possible without the impressive grinding and forecheck from Max Vasquez Schalk and Aleks Czubak.

While the offense dazzled, the defense stood equally tall. With solid positioning and relentless pressure, Shay Fear, Mackinnon Coghlin, Dylan Metzger and Emmett Neves effectively stifled the Crusaders' attempts to score. The defenders consistently disrupted plays and showcased their ability to move the puck out of our zone smoothly, ensuring the team maintained control of the game.

A standout in the victory was goaltender Alistair Hayward, whose exceptional performance earned him the Player of the Game award. Alistair showcased remarkable agility and composure in the net, making crucial saves that kept the Crusaders' offense at bay.

The Coaching staff are very proud of the effort the boys gave, our regular season starts Oct 22nd @ 6:30pm where we will host the South Bruce Blades.

See you there!
