However the boys went down 3-1 by the end of the 1st but refused to back down, Caleb Newman brought the Cycs within 1 with a shot from the top of the circle that beat a very strong South Bruce goaltender. A standout performance came from Holden Macewan, who scored two critical goals from his "office"— top of the crease blocker side. Holden's goals were pivotal in the Cyclones' comeback, earning him the Player of the Game award for his remarkable effort. Oli Gutknecht tied the game late in the third to complete the comeback!
