Road Trip Ends With A Win and a Loss
Submitted By Tim Matheson on Sunday, March 01, 2009
The Atom Rep series is now tied at one game each after a 2 - 1 loss to the Kingsville Kings on Sunday.

Game two would find the Cyclones a little water-logged after spending a little too much time in the water park at the hotel on Saturday night.  The first two periods were all Kingsville as they dominated the Cyclones.  Most of the play was in the Cycs end and Braeden Ellis was amazing in net making some huge saves to keep the goals against at two.  Finally in the third, the boys seemed to find their legs again and started to put some pressure on the Kings and Lane Buchanan was rewarded with an unassisted goal with just over ten minutes left in the third.  The Cycs kept the pressure on for the rest of the game but just couldn't capitalize again on their scoring chances.   Game three will be back in Listowel on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and game four is on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
