WOAA Zone 6 Board Committee representing Minto, Drayton, Howick, Listowel, Mount Forest, Wallace & Central Perth minor hockey associations is excited to introduce the Southeast Surge, the new identity for rep (A & B) hockey for the region.

Mark your calendars! We’ve been invited join the Kitchener Rangers as they take on the Sudbury Wolves on Friday November 1st!!!

We are excited to offer the opportunity of two separate 9-week sessions of power skating mornings again this year with Jason Brooks.   First session will run from mid-October through late December. Second session will pick back up in early January through to mid-March and will implement skills and puck control alongside the power skating.

On August 5, the minor hockey associations of WOAA met to sign the Memorandum of Understanding for the Zone Hockey trial to take place for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 hockey seasons. This change will have our representative hockey teams being formed with players from 6 zones now established by the WOAA. These zones are considered ‘A’ centers and will have ‘A’ teams at all major and minor levels beginning at U10.
