Bantams push winning streak to 5
After some early season losses the Bantam Reps continue to push for a 500 record with wins over Milverton and Goderich

Sunday saw the Cycs hosted Milverton and despite a spirited effort by the Drives, the quicker more skilled Cycs prevailed 8-1. The local lads used a very balanced attack as 10 of the 14 skaters recorded at least one point. Graeden Geiger (2 Goals, 1 assist) and Cole Fletcher (1 goal, 2 assists) lead the way with 3 points each while Broedy Karlse (2 goals), Tyler Hak (goal, assist), Riley Conners (goal, assist),  Keaton Willis (2 assists) and Scott Corbett (2 assists) each chipped in with 2 points. Rounding out the scoring was Nate Dietz with a goal, Caleb Warren and Andrew Gooding each picked up an assist. Tyler Robinson picked up his 3rd win of the season in net.

Monday night proved to be a much tougher game as the Cycs travelled to Goderich looking to avenge an earlier season loss to the Sailors. The Cycs looked disinterested in the first but Steven Gottfried bailed his teammates out turning aside all the rubber he faced in the 1st. Karelse got the Cycs on the board late in the 1st as he picked up a errant pass then when in alone and made no mistake. This along with an emphatic intermission speech from coach Rozendal seemed to inspire the visiting Cycs as they picked up there game in the 2nd. Using their speed and hustle the Listowel lads generated several great scoring chances only to have a bad bounce or good save keep the led at 1 heading into the 3rd. Undaunted the Cycs continued to work their game plan and it eventually paid off as Dietz potted a nice feed from Willis and Hak, giving the Cycs the 2-0 lead. That’s all Gottfried would need as he recorded his 1st shutout of the year.
