Durham Tournament
Good weekend for the Midget LL team at the Durham Tourney
Well, the Durham tourney came and went with some awesome playing shown by all players. The first game was played against the TNT team from Alliston. After a hard fought game, our guys lost by 3-0. That didn't seem to hurt the enthusiasm of our team as the guys went on to play at noon against the Shellburne 2 team who had some big tall and tough players. Our LL team fought hard against this team by keeping their goals of working as a team together and using some new techniques shown to them from the coach. Unfortunately, the Shellburne team squeaked a goal in and our guys lost a hard fought battle in this second game. With the points system they used in the tournament, our team didn't get to move on to the final games played, but I think all of them had a great day playing in the tournament against some tough opponents.
All of us look forward to the next tournament in the new year in Palmerston on Jan. 17th!
