The LMH Midget AE team helped
support a local cause.
The LMH Midget AE team helped support a local cause by collecting food, supplies and toys for the local Salvation Army in their “Stuff A Hockey Bag” drive. The team placed a hockey bag at their admission gate for two home games and asked family, fans and visiting teams to bring items to help them collect and stuff the hockey bag with donation items.
Players also completed a secret Santa gift exchange (…with a twist) among teammates. Teammates drew names and bought a gift that they believed that teammate would have played with as a child growing up, all the gifts were then donated to the Salvation Army toy drive.
Lots of hot wheels, games, Tonka toys…..and maybe a few barbies were exchanged that will be sure to keep some young kids happy this Christmas !
The support was outstanding from everyone involved, thank-you VERY much to everyone that donated items the generosity and support was fantastic.
