U13 Rep Cycs fall 7-3 to West Grey
The U13 Rep Cycs got off to the start they wanted vs the West Grey Warriors on Wednesday as Emerson Smith 30 seconds into the 2nd period unassisted. It would be short lived however as the Warriors would respond less than a minute to tie the game and again mid way through the frame to take the lead. Zack Brooks would tie the game shortly after on a nice feed from Patrick Magee and Jade Campbell but again the Warriors would respond and would take a 3-2 to the intermission.
The home team would come out strong in the final frame scoring three times before Smith would notch his 2nd of the game assisted by Coleson Beirnes. West Grey would add another to skate to a 7-3 win on home ice. The loss leaves the Cycs with a record of 1 W and 1 L after two playoffs games, right in the heart of the race as each team has at least 2 points.
The are back in action Saturday at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex, lets hope home cooking gets them back on track vs the Mid Huron Huskies!!!
