Red Rallies For Win In Walkerton
Listowel Atom Red came back to earn their second win of the playoffs on Monday.
Down 1-0 to the Walkerton Capitals after one period, Listowel came back with a pair of goals in the middle frame.
Both tallies came off the stick of Noah Hiemstra, with Oliver Hershey picking up one assist and goaltender Ryan Reath claiming another - in addition to his solid play between the pipes.
Owen Alexander sealed the deal with an empty net tally in the third to secure the victory.
The entirety of Listowel's roster played a solid two-way game to earn the win, especially considering the amount they've been on the ice over the last week.
Their next action will come Friday evening at SKMC, taking Walkerton once more at 6:00 pm. A date with West Grey will follow on Saturday at 4:15 pm.
