U9T1 Cycs win 5-2 after a long layoff
After almost two weeks off the U9T1 Cycs hit the road and picked up a 5-2 win over the Central Perth Predators.
The first period would not see much scoring, the only goal coming from Ian Magee who picked up a pass from the point from Alton Sholdice and buried it. The Cycs would score two quick ones at the end of 2nd period, first by Tyce Passmore on a nice feed from Fin Long and Magee again 40 seconds later on a pass from Passmore.
The Preds would get on the board mid way through the 3rd but Hunter Adamson would respond 30 seconds later on a cross crease pass from Magee to push the score to 4-1. Central Perth would add another and get a few more good chances but would be turned away by goalie Sully Meulensteen. With 2 seconds left Magee would complete the hat trick on a nice set up by Passmore.
With 3 points and a great effort all night, Tyce Passmore would pick up the Cycs Hardest Working Chain, well done Tyce!!
Next action sees the boys travel to Mitchell on March 15 for a date with the Meteors.
Be sure to come out next weekend and cheer on the U11 Reps in the Gord Hymers Tournament!!!!
