Shorthanded Cycs fall 4-2 to Huskies
The U13 Rep Cyclones were dealt some bad news as assistant captain Emerson Smith broke his collar bone and will be sidelined for the near future. Mid Huron came to town on Tuesday and skated away with a 4-2 win.
Listowel would open the scoring when Coleson Beirnes flew down the wing and buried a wrister from the top of circle. The Huskies would tie it late in the 2nd and the two teams would head to the third tied 1-1. The Huskies would strike early in the 3rd and again minutes later to take a two goal lead. The Cycs would cut it to one when Beirnes would set up Hudson Ireland, it would be as close as Listowel would get as the Huskies would add a 4th and end up winning 4-2.
